Foreword

Critical prerequisite for installations and upgrades

  • To support the architectural enhancements introduced in this release, all onsite Naverisk servers require the installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.44.35211 or any subsequent version.

  • This component must be installed on the server prior to upgrading the Naverisk application. The installer can be obtained directly from Microsoft via the link below: Microsoft Download Page: Latest Supported Visual C++ Redistributable

Welcome to Naverisk 2025 R5!

This update marks a major step forward for the Naverisk platform, introducing a modern, high-performance foundation for Managed Service Providers.

We have overhauled the visual experience with a sophisticated new Dark Mode default and initiated a phased transition to a native 64-bit Windows architecture.

Alongside these core advancements, we’ve implemented key stability fixes to group permissions, device filtering, and ticketing workflows to ensure a more seamless daily management experience.

User Interface, dark mode

We're thrilled to introduce a significant UI update and are making Dark Mode the new default setting!

Key Benefits:

  • Modern and Sophisticated Look: The new dark aesthetic provides a modern, sophisticated look.

  • Reduced Eye Strain: Reduced blue light and screen glare mean less strain, perfect for working in low-light conditions.

  • Device Performance: Dark Mode can help save battery life on devices with OLED/AMOLED screens.

Windows agent, 64-Bit infrastructure

We are laying the groundwork for the next generation of the Naverisk platform. This update includes critical architectural enhancements to support our upcoming Native 64-Bit Windows Agent, designed specifically for high-performance, modern IT environments.

This transition ensures Naverisk remains optimized for your most critical assets, providing the stability and speed required for enterprise-scale management.

Phased Rollout Strategy: To ensure maximum reliability, we are adopting a tiered rollout approach:

  • Infrastructure First: Our Cloud Instance Site Controllers and Network Controllers will transition to the 64-bit architecture first to power backend operations.

  • Full Availability: Following this successful infrastructure validation, the 64-bit agent will be made available for all Windows device maintenance and monitoring in Naverisk 2026 R1.

  • Fixed: issue where the access permission was not automatically upon choosing the “edit” or “create” options in the group modal

  • Fixed: issue where saved device views were incorrectly rendered or "broken" when using the processor version attribute as a filter.

  • Fixed: issue where the Ticket UI notes content was wrapping text based on individual letters instead of on full words, leading to poor readability.

  • Fixed: issue where users attempting to save a note without filling all mandatory fields were not shown an error message, resulting in a silent save failure.

  • Fixed: issue where incoming email were not displayed correctly in the Summary and Activity tabs.

  • Fixed: issue where offline devices selected for scheduled jobs were not correctly added to the job queue. These jobs will now be queued as expected and will execute once the devices return online.
