Naverisk 2026 R6.1

Release notes

Welcome to Naverisk 2026 R6.1

In this release, we have focused on resolving key issues across device management, ticketing, automation, and UI navigation to ensure a more seamless and reliable experience.

Highlights include fixing Remote Control viewer misalignments and configuration logic, resolving tab styling and menu display glitches across core pages, restoring automatic recovery for corrupted agent configuration files, and ensuring ticket automation rules and event monitoring logs execute accurately.

Performance, stability & quality improvements

  • Fixed an issue where minimising the Run Script Pack or Task Manager modals and clicking on their tabs to reopen them caused the ribbon tabs to turn completely white with invisible text. The tabs now displays the correct styling and readable text when restored.

  • Fixed an issue where saving a manually created ticket under specific client accounts triggered a Site Controller connection error and rendered raw HTML tags in the Service Desk grid and ticket details view. Tickets now save without errors, and trigger information displays as plain text.

  • Fixed an issue where clicking the Remote Control icon in the device grid launched an RDP session instead of Splashtop when Splashtop was selected on the device details page. Centralised selection logic now ensures grid connections consistently respect configured device-level and client-default remote control settings.

  • Fixed an issue where the Apply Filter and Clear Filter buttons on the Software tab of the Device Details page were misaligned and overlapping the Copy Link and Pin to Ribbon buttons. The filter controls have been repositioned to the grid controls area, leaving the ribbon buttons visible and functional.

  • Fixed an issue where ticket creation rules skipped checking existing contacts and persons during evaluation, resulting in duplicate person creation under the catch-all rule instead of assigning tickets to the matching contact's client account.

  • Fixed an issue where 32-bit and 64-bit agents failed to auto-recover from corrupted or nulled NAS.cfg and NAS.cfg.tmp configuration files using NAS.cfg.bak, causing agents to remain disconnected from Naverisk. File recovery fallback logic now properly restores configuration files from backup to ensure reliable reconnects.

  • Fixed an issue where creating the first sub-client under a client did not dynamically reveal the client tree hamburger menu on the Service Desk, Devices, Client, and Projects pages, requiring a manual page refresh. The menu now updates automatically upon creation to provide immediate access to the tree hierarchy.

  • Fixed an issue where tickets could not be added to a project from the ticket expansion view within the Project Grid. The Service Desk selection modal now opens correctly to allow ticket selection and assignment.

  • Fixed an issue where event monitoring and schedule notification tickets created the initial entry as a public note with missing details rather than an audit log. The first activity is now correctly recorded as audit history, and full event failure details are restored to the description.

  • Fixed an issue where executing a Package Scan automation rule against a ticket with no device attached corrupted the rule and prevented future editing. Rules now handle missing devices gracefully, allowing the Automation Rules modal to open and edit successfully.

  • Fixed an issue where newly created devices with no explicitly defined preferred Remote Control viewer displayed "Native RDP" on device tickets despite launching Splashtop. Device tickets now accurately display "Splashtop" as the Remote Control method to reflect actual connection settings.
