There are a few things within Arma that you need to check frequently. We often see clients that have devices not working and they simply haven’t checked their devices are online within the dashboard.

1. Is your device online?

Often a device may go offline.

This will show gray in the dashboard and is the most common support request we get. We push out updates frequently and some security systems will block the update of the agent. This means you will need to manually update the agent with one of the recommended methods to bring it back online.


2. Agent Version

A key regular check is to make sure you are running the latest version you are running the latest agent. If you aren’t running the latest agent then your backups may stop and fail. The newer agents also offer improved performance.

3. How to check your agent Version

You can see this in several places the initial device dashboard, you will see the following on the right-hand side

Also, within the device tab under the agent section.

NB: If your Agent is online and not showing latest version, You can simply click Restart as above and this will install and upgrade the agent for the specific device.
